'67 Duetto Interior Restoration

The interior was redone the Amaranth color. Seat pans were in great condition, and they now have new foam and the covers are also from Europe, and are made from the OEM vinyl, correct color and texture. In between the seats is the grey tunnel carpet set, an exact reproduction in every way with the quilted foot pad and the brake boot. The rest of the floor is covered in reproduction rubber as original. The door skins are also new and a perfect match. Kickplates are perfect and right side still has the riveted map pouch. Gauges are nice; speedo and rpm show a little patina common for Italian chrome worn by sun. The dash is an original example. The top is Robbins Sonnendeck. Visors have the original (re)chrome hinges, as well as the rear mirror frame, small but irreplaceable details often lost on these cars over the years. It’s all finished off with an original Nardi Classico wheel and period correct Fiamm air horns.

All switches, lights and hardware function correctly.

The rearview mirror light assembly was repaired and door jam switches cleaned to operate correctly. The clear front glass for the rearview mirror was replaced. The day/night lever works correctly.

All original indicator and gauge and interior light bulbs were replaced, and the speedometer and tachometer inside glass surface cleaned.

The correct reproduction radio blanking plate was affixed.

A NOS Lucas single position duck bill toggle switch was installed for the dash lighting.

All new interior plastic windshield surround trim was installed.

The original ashtray was ground and polished to remove surface rust, the ashtray housing light repaired and a NOS cigarette lighter installed. The cigarette lighter is a unique item wherein a cigarette is inserted into the lighter.

An original replacement window crank handle was fitted.

A new heater control faceplate was attached.

A newly chromed driver's side vent window lock was affixed.

A new turnbuckle was attached to the rear drape.
